PRE-OPERATION CHECK

CHECKING THE ENGINE OIL

Remove the engine oil filler cap, and make
sure the engine oil is at the correct engine
oil level.
1. Position the Snowblower on a level sur-
face.
2. Pull out the lower part of the engine oil
inspection cover while pressing up the
tab of the cover. Then, pull the engine
oil inspection cover downwards to re-
move it.

3. Remove the engine oil filler cap.

4. Make sure that the engine oil is at the
correct engine oil level.

1. Correct engine oil level
5. If the engine oil is below the correct en-
gine oil level, fill up to the brim of the oil
filler hole with the recommended engine
oil.
Recommended brand:
YAMALUBE
Type:
SAE 5W-30
Recommended engine oil grade:
API Service SE type or higher
Engine oil quantity:
0.6 L (0.63 US qt, 0.53 Imp qt)
TIP
If the engine oil spills, wipe it up immedi-
ately using dry rags.
6. Install and tighten the engine oil filler
cap securely.
7. Install the engine oil inspection cover.
