5.4.1.8 Replacing an EEV

Prerequisites

Context
Tools: flat-head screwdriver, welding tool, refrigerant reclaiming device (required
based on local conditions), nitrogen injection and pressure preservation tool,
vacuumization tool, refrigerant charging tool
Procedure
Step 1 Hold down

Step 2 Open the front door, and turn off the indoor unit power switch and the indoor

Step 3 Remove the return air filter.
Step 4 Reclaim the refrigerant.
Step 5 Gently shake the EEV coil leftwards or rightwards and pull it upwards, as shown in
