500-549 or 5001-5049 is assigned to an extension group.
The numbers for C.O. lines, extensions or extension groups can be changed using
MMC 724.

Checking System Operation

After starting the system, check that it is operating normally.
4.1

Basic Functions

Check that the basic system functions such as Station Call, Station Camp-On, C.O.
Line Call and C.O. Line Camp-On work correctly (see below).
4.1.1 Station Call
Follow this procedure to check if calls between stations are enabled:
1. Lift the handset of a phone and verify the dial tone.
2. Dial an extension number and check if the dial tone stops.
3. Dial all extension numbers and verify the ringback tone.
4. When the recipient answers the call, check the call status.
5. Hang up the phone and call a busy station to verify the busy tone.
4.1.2 Station Camp-On
If a caller dials a number and the recipient is busy on a call, this function automati-
cally connects the recipient and the caller when the recipient hangs up their current
call by ringing back the caller.
Follow this procedure to check the Station Camp-On function:
1. Lift the handset of a phone (A) and dial a busy station (B) to verify the busy
tone. (Make phone B busy, e.g. by calling the speaking clock.)
2.
Press the hookflash button and check that the busy tone stops.
3. Dial the Camp-On code and verify the confirmation tone.
4. Replace the handset of phone A
