Operation mode setting procedure

In the factory default state, connect the CCU to the unit and then set the operation mode.
Connect with serial
1. Set the setting of "CONNECT
MODE" to "Serial" under
[SYSTEM] > [CONNECT
SETTING] in the ROP menu.
2. Connect the CCU, and start
operations.

Switching between serial connection and IP connection

Switch between serial connection and IP connection via the [CONNECT SETTING] settings of the ROP menu or via the serial/LAN settings
of the ROP Setup Software.

When the settings are initialized, the operation mode returns to serial connection (factory default state).

Serial connection
Serial connection with the CCU is
possible.
・IP connection is not possible.
Power ON
Factory default state
Connect the CCU to the unit in the factory default state.
1. Set the IP address of the unit under [SYSTEM] > [ROP IP SETTING].
When setting the IP address of the
connection destination manually
2. Set the IP address of the CCU to
be connected under [SYSTEM] >
[MANUAL IP SETTING].
3. Set the setting of "CONNECT
MODE" to assign for each
camera control number to "LAN"
under [SYSTEM] > [CONNECT
SETTING] in the ROP menu.
4. Set the account information of the
connection destination device
under [SYSTEM] > [CAMERA
AUTH SETTING].
Connect with the CCU via an IP connection and start operation.
Switch to IP connection *
Switch back to serial connection *
When the settings are initialized, the operation mode returns
to serial connection (factory default state).

connection destination by searching
2. Search for the IP addresses of
devices and then set the camera
to assign to each camera control
number under [SYSTEM] >
[CAM IP SEARCH].
3. Set the account information of
the connection destination
device under [SYSTEM] >
[CAMERA AUTH SETTING].
IP connection

・A serial connection can be used in
combination with IP connections.
