Acknowledging/deactivating a Gener-
al alarm
If the support technician configured the alarm feature
for your extension, it will ring whenever there is an
alarm condition on the HiPath 1100.
Answer the call to acknowledge that the alarm was de-
tected. If the alarm call is not acknowledged, a new at-
tempt at a call will be made (as programmed) and the
extension will ring again.
Required: And your telephone will ring three times
(three short beeps) at 4-second intervals.

Disabling a General alarm
If an alarm system has been activated, in addition to the
alarm signal, it can be deactivated.
Enter the code to deactivate a general alarm. (#9414)
