4-5-7. A/D Pedestal Video Level Adjustment

Turn on the main power of the MAV-555A and measuring equipment. Wait for at least 30 minutes before
starting any adjustments.
1. Set the setup menu "42-PORT CONFIG" to "2in2out".
2. Set the setup menu "701-INPUT SETUP REMOVE R1" and "702-IN SETUP REMOVE P2" to
"off".
3. Turn the main power off. Restart the MAV-555A.

To restart the MAV-555A quickly, execute "027-FAST REBOOT" on the setup menu.
4. Set the R1 port to the record mode and the P1 port to the playback mode.
5. Select "A/D Pedestal Level" of the ADjuster2.
6. Input the ramp signal from signal generator.
7. Change the set value of the level bar of the ADjuster2 using
puter or with a mouse. Click "Set" and confirm the pedestal level.
8. Repeat step 3 until the specifications are satisfied.
Specifications : As specified by the waveform shown below.

Specification : The pedestal level must not
have any flight of stairs.
9. Click "Write to EEPROM" of the Adjuster2 and save the set value.
