The parallel interface normally runs in the standard mode SPP.
Furthermore, it can be operated in the EPP mode (Enhanced Parallel
Port) or in the ECP mode (Extended Capabilities Port), if the suitable
peripheral equipment is available. The mode can be changed in the BIOS
settings.
