When you press the softkey "MEASUREMENT START" the control automatically switches to
"AUTOMATIC" mode and measuring cycle L887 is selected. The measuring cycle is executed
on NC START according to the sequence 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 shown in the next display.
The position of the angle of a workpiece with reference to the offset axis is determined. The
probe is positioned at measuring point 2 opposite the measuring surface on completion of
measurement. Then the control automatically switches to JOG mode and the selection display
"WORKPIECE MEASUREMENT" appears on the screen with the following results
• Angle with reference to offset axis.
