7.4 Connect a column
Attach a column holder and
connect a column to the
instrument
Follow the instruction below to connect a column to the instrument. Always use a column
holder. The column is connected to two opposite parts of the Column valve, using
appropriate tubing and connectors.

Attach an appropriate column holder to the rail on the instrument.
Attach the column to the column holder.
