Replacement procedure
1. Remove this unit. (Refer to Section 1-1.)
2. Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 3-2-1.)
3. Remove the top plate assembly. (Refer to Section 3-2-2.)
4. Remove all switching regulators. (Refer to Section 3-4-1.)
5. Remove the two fan case assemblies. (Refer to Section 3-4-2.)
6. Remove all HDDs. (Refer to Section 3-4-4.)
7. Remove the SSD. (Refer to Section 3-4-5.)
8. Remove the DP board assembly. (Refer to Section 3-5-2.)
9. Remove the PU-131 board assembly. (Refer to Section 3-5-4.)
10. Obtain the data saved in SSP-27A/27B board assembly, then remove the SSP-27A/27B board assem-
bly. (Refer to Section 3-5-6.)
11. Remove the CP-406 board. (Refer to Section 3-5-7.)
12. Remove the three IO-243 boards. (Refer to Section 3-5-8.)
13. Remove the six screws (B3 x 6), then remove the lens
(HDD) assemblies.
14. Disconnect the harnesses from the connectors (CN52
and CN53) on the MB-1143 board.
15. Remove the fi ve screws (BVTT3 x 6) and three screws
(PSW3 x 8), then remove the MB-1143 board assem-
bly.
