Displaying global user data (GUD)
Global user variables
Global GUDs are NC global user data (Global User Data) that remains available after
switching the machine off.
GUDs apply in all programs.
Definition
A GUD variable is defined with the following:
● Keyword DEF
● Range of validity NCK
● Data type (INT, REAL, ....)
● Variable names
● Value assignment (optional)
Example
DEF NCK INT ZAEHLER1 = 10
GUDs are defined in files with the ending DEF. The following file names are reserved for this
purpose:
File name
MGUD.DEF
UGUD.DEF
GUD4.DEF
GUD8.DEF, GUD9.DEF

Press the "User variable" softkey.
3.
Press the "Global GUD" softkeys.
The "Global User Variables" window is displayed. A list of the defined
UGUD variables will be displayed.
