Both switches can be closed simultaneously in an interlock
One of the two switches in an interlock cannot be closed (with the other switch open)
The closing bobbin, the opening uncouplers or the motor command are burnt out
Error/fault or alarm message (W ARN) on the M-Pro 20 uncoupler display unit (or the "W arn/Alarm" LED blinking)
Irregular pulsing of the "Healthy" LED (or LED off) on the M-Pro 20 uncoupler
Abnormal pulsing (permanently on, permanently off, blinking) of the M-Pro 17+ relay LED
The switch will open if the springs are loaded when it is closed
The fixed part is being executed or is in a different
frame to the moving part
The two parts of the lock to prevent incorrect switch
insertion are incompatible
X
Defective kinematic motion
The opening bobbin power supply voltage is
X
inadequate
X
The auxiliary circuit cabling is incorrect
The opening uncoupler (on current launching or of
minimumvoltage) is positioned incorrectly
The minimum voltage uncoupler is faulty
The opening uncoupler (on current launching or of
minimumvoltage) is faulty
The closing uncoupler is faulty
The closing bobbin power supply voltage is
X
inadequate
The closing bobbin is fitted incorrectly
X
The motor power supply voltage is inadequate
The electronic uncoupler has not been reset after
anintervention
The minimum voltage uncoupler is not powered
correctly
The opening bobbin on current launching is
permanently powered
The kinematic motion springs are unloaded
The switch opens due to protection relay cut-in
X
X
The interlock is not adjusted correctly
The extraction operations (page 20) have not been
performedcorrectly
X
Presence of a fault
X
The uncoupler is not powered correctly
X
The relay shows an operating defect
CAUSES
Change the fixed or moving part
Change the fixed or moving part / replace the block
if fixed and moving part are compatible
Contact GE Consumer & Industrial (page 36)
Measure the power supply voltage: it must be
between 0.7Vn and 1.1Vn forcurrent launching
bobbins and between 0.35Vn and 0.70Vn for
minimumvoltage bobbins
Check the cabling using the wiring diagrams
contained in the installationmanual
Check the correct positioning of the uncoupler
Replace the minimum voltage uncoupler
Replace the uncoupler
Replace the closing uncoupler
Measure the power supply voltage: it must be
between 0.85Vn and 1.1Vn
Check the correct positioning of the closing bobbin
in its housing
Measure the power supply voltage: it must be
between 0.85Vn and 1.1Vn
Press the electronic uncoupler RESET key
Measure the power supply voltage: it must be
between 0.85Vn and 1.1Vn
Cut permanent power to the opening bobbin /
check the cabling
Load the springs (manually or electrically)
Check the relay intervention thresholds and, if
necessary, the presence in thesystem of causes
that could determine the cutting in of this relay
Adjust the interlock
Ensure that: the padlocks have been removed from
the lower panel of theextractable base; the safety
device for operating the crank has been
unlockedand the crank turned from the
DISCONNECTED position to the stop one; thatthe
springs are unloaded.
Read the fault message on the display unit and
refer to pages 80-85 of thismanual
Check correct operation using a tester or an
auxiliary power supply; contactBticino if the
outcome is not positive
