Error and Status indications
The following Error or Status indications may be displayed while operating the unit or
CD Changer
Indication Cause

Abnormal disc change function
The disc is inserted upsidedown.
\ The disc is dirty.

temperature in this unit

CD Changer is detected.

Magazine is not fully inserted into
the CD Changer.

There are no discs in the maga-

Contact your place of purchase.

Take out the disc and inserf it with
Clean the disc.

Allow the car and /or the CD
Changer location to cool. The indi-
cation disappears when the tem-
perature decreases.
Completely inserf the magazine
into the changer untill it clicks in
place.
Insert
the discs into the magazine.
The indication disappears when
you insert a disc into the slot No.2.
Before Wiring and Installation
General

This unit is designed to be operated on + 12 volt DC negative ground electrical
systems. The unit cannot be operated on + 24 volt or positive ground electrical sys-
tems.
. According to this manual, wire and install the unit. If you are not confident in your
ability to install the unit correctly, have it installed by a proffesional mobile electron-
ics installation technician.
. Remove a transport screw and make all electrical
connections before installing the unit.
