1. Press
the Radio mode select button ( 1~ ) to turn on the radio.
2. Adjust the volume and tone quality. (See page 8 "Audio conrol".)
3. Pressing the Band select button ( H), select the desired band.
With each press, the band shifts as follows.
FM1 + FM2 +AM
Tuning ...............
There are 2 types as follows.

Auto (Seek) tuning ...... The unit will tune
Up
or down in frequency and stop on
the next strong station. (The tuning normally operates in
the auto mode.)

Press the ( +)
or ( ~ )
side of the Tuning button ( 'S""* ).
To
tune up
Press the ( ~ ) side for less than 0.7 seconds.
To tune down Press the ( < ) side for less
than
0.7 seconds.
Manual tuning
.. With each press, the frequency will shift up or down by
50 kHz (FM) or 9 kHz (AM).
o
Press and hold the ( ~ ) or ( ~ ) side of the Tuning button ( 's'''" ) for 0.7 sec-
onds or more to switch to the manual tuning mode. The frequency indicator will
flash on and off.
Note:
It returns to Auto (Seek) tuning mode if the Tuning button is not pressed within 5
seconds after it becomes Manual tuning mode.

press the ( +)
or ( ~ ) side of the Tuning button ( "'''" ) when the frequency
indicator flashes on and off.
