Changing the user password
Users can define a separate user password for each BizIP 410 telephone,
protecting the telephone from unauthorized access.
Properties of the user password:
•
To activate the password function, the password must consist of six
digits that are not 000000.
•
The password must always be entered to access the answer machine
(even if the password is 000000). The user password for the answer
machine is "code number".
•
It is only necessary to enter the password to access the following
menus if the password is not 000000:
– 7=Setup
2=Configuration

– 7=Setup
3=Local functions
-

It is only possible to block the telephone (3=Lock phone, see Operat-
ing Manual) if the password is not 000000.

Deleting a station
•
The user password can also be changed by the user at any time. For a
detailed description, see the Operating Manual.
