DISASSEMBLING THE SECONDARY
SHEAVE
1. Remove:
• nut (secondary sheave)
NOTE:
Hold the secondary sheave with a sheave hol-
der to loosen the nut.
Sheave holder
2. Remove:
• clutch drum
• secondary sheave
• crankcase cover gasket
• dowel pins
3. Attach:
• sheave holder
• nut spanner
Sheave holder
4. Loosen:
• clutch securing nut
CAUTION:
Do not remove the clutch positioning nut
yet.
5. Attach:
• clutch spring compressor

• clutch securing nut
7. Remove:
• clutch assembly
• secondary sheave spring
• spring seat
• guide pins
• secondary sliding sheave
