Loading Envelopes into the 500-sheet 2nd
Cassette
1. Remove the tray from the cassette unit (A).
2. Lift the lever on the left front of the cassette and release it
into the slot (B).
3. Press down on the bottom metal plate (C).
4. Make sure the Back Guide is positioned to the LTR index

mark. Otherwise, lift up on the back side of the guide and
move it forward (D).
Lift the tab on the top of Side Guide 1 and slide it to the
envelope size indicated on the tray bottom. You may
need to use both hands for this step (E). Match the right
side of Side Guide 1 to the index markings on the bottom
of the tray.
