Swiss apple pie
Serves approx. 40
Pastry base:
500 g flour
160 ml water
200 g margarine
1800 g fruit (berries, peaches, cherries,
apples etc.)
Topping:
350 ml double cream
8 tbsp sugar
4 eggs
Method:
1. Briskly mix the flour, margarine and
water to a smooth dough, and leave in
a cool place for a while.
2. Mix together all of the ingredients for
the topping. Drain the fruit if necessary.
3. Roll out the pastry thinly, and place
on the universal tray. Roll over the
edges to form a lip.
4. Start the Automatic programme.
5. Arrange the fruit on the pastry, then
spread the topping over and place in
the pre-heated oven.
