Using the Battery Pack

CAUTION
• Use only SHARP model "BT-L200S" battery pack with this Player.
Use of another battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.

To attach a battery pack to the Player

Be sure to charge a battery pack before using it and make sure the Player's
power is turned off.

Align the Player's battery connectors with
the the battery pack's connectors as
shown in the illustration (1).

Slide the Player in the
direction indicated by the arrow (2).
• Slide the Player as far as it locks firmly.
Important!
• To prevent mis-operation while attaching or removing the battery pack, make
sure that the Player's power is turned off.
• Make sure that the battery pack is positioned correctly when you attach it to
the Player. Positioning it wrong can cause malfunction.
• The battery pack needs time to initialize whenever you attach it to the Player.
Wait for about three seconds after attaching it to turn on power.
• Remove the battery pack from the Player when you finish using it.

To charge the battery pack

Use the AC adapter that comes with the Player to charge the battery pack.
• Before charging the battery pack, make sure that the battery pack is firmly
attached to the Player. See "To attach a battery pack to the Player" above.
