Insefl one end of the telephone line cord into the adapter, Insert the other end of
the line cord into the socket on the back of the fax marked "TEL LINE". Plug the
adapter into the telephone socket on the wall.

Moving your fax and reconnecting
Should it be necessary to move your fax to a new location, first disconnect the
telephone line cord before disconnecting the power lead. When reconnecting, it is
necessary to connect the power lead before connecting the telephone line cord.
Note: If your area experiences a high incidence of lightning orpower surges, we
recommend that you install surge protectors for the power and telephone
lines. Surge protectors can be purchased at most telephone specialiy stores
