Parallel menu

This menu allows you to make settings which control the parallel
interface.
Speed
Specifies the transfer speed between the computer and the printer.
It does this by selecting the delay period between the STROBE
and the ACKNLG signal. For more information concerning the
signals of the parallel interface, see Appendix A.
Bi-D
Enables or disables bidirectional communication between the
printer and the computer. Make the setting according to the
parallel port on your computer.
Note:
Your computer's parallel interface must support bidirectional
communication for this setting to have any effect.
Buffer Size
Determines the amount of memory to be used for receiving and
printing data. If set to Maximum , more memory is allocated for
receiving data. If set to Minimum , more memory is allocated for
printing data. The factory default setting is Normal .
