® I want to seJect the quality matching the paper size for printing.

® What's the difference between _ and _?
it indicates a different image quaiity due to a different compression
rate. Even with the same number of pixeis, the J image has higher
image quality, if J is seiected, the image quaiity wiii be siightiy
iower, but more images can be saved to the card.
® [ took more shots than the number of possible shots indicated.
Depending on the shooting conditions, you may be abie to take
more shots than was indicated. Or, you might be abie to take fewer
shots than indicated. The possibie shots dispiayed is oniy an
estimate.
® Does the camera display the maximum burst?
The maximum burst is dispiayed in the viewfinder's right side. Since
it is oniy a singie-digit indicator 0 - 9, any number higher than 9 wiii
be dispiayed oniy as "9/' Note that this number wiii aiso be dispiayed
even when no card is instaiied in the camera. Be carefui not to shoot
without a card in the camera.
® When do [ use the _ mode?
1_ images require processing with your personal computer. For
detaiis, see "About _" and "About _+A L" on the next page.
Other than 1_, the images wiii be in the JPEG type commoniy used
by digitai cameras.
