Setting the Date and Time
When you turn on the power for the first time or if the dateltime has
been reset, the Date/Time setting screen wi[[ appear. Follow steps 3
and 4 to set the date/time. Note that the dateltime appended to
recorded images will be based on this Date/Time setting. Be sure
to set the date/time.
DispJay the menu.
® Press the <MENU> button to display
the menu.
_ Under the [['?:] tab, select [:Date/
Time].
® Press the <@_> key to select the
itS:] tab.
® Press the <AV> key to select [Date/
Time], then press <(_>.
_ Set the date and time.
® Press the <_> key to select the
date or time number.
® Press <_> so E_ is displayed.
® Press the <AV' > key to set the number,
then press <_>. (returns to EEl.)
4 Exit the menu.
® Press the <_> key to select [OK],
then press <_>.
_, The datettime will be set.
® Press the <MENU> button to return
to the shooting settings display.
@ If you store the camera without the battery or if the camera's battery
becomes exhausted, the date/time might be reset. }f this happens, set
the date/time again.
