Turning on the Power
Checking the Battery LeveJ
When the power switch is set to <ON>, the battery level will be
indicated in one of four levels:
(ZZZ3
: Battery level OK.
: Battery level is slightly down,
but adequate power remains.
: Battery will be exhausted soon.
: Battery must be recharged.

depending on the shooting conditions.
Pressing the shutter button halfway for long penods or operating only the
autofocus can a_so reouce the number of possible sno_s.
The number of possible shots will decrease w_th more frequen-_ use of
the LCD monitor.
The lens operation is powered by the camera's ba[_ery. Using certain
lenses can reduce the numeer of possible shots.
Using £he Image Stabilizer of the lens will decrease the number ot
possLble shots shorter battery life).
