8. Slide the side guide in so it presses lightly
against the edge of the envelope stack.
Note: Do not adjust the side guide so
tightly that it bows the envelope stack.
9. Install the Envelope cassette into the 500-Sheet
feeder.

The Face-Up Output Tray

The optional Face-up output tray allows the
printed sheets of paper to exit face up instead of
the standard face down. This tray is useful for
receiving heavier papers, envelopes and labels
that work better when printed in a straight
through paper path. The Face-up output tray
holds 20 sheets of standard letter or A4 paper.
Installing the Face-Up Output Tray
1. Insert the three tabs on the end of the Face-up
output tray into the exit opening at the rear of
the printer.
