Controlling Access by Drive rather than by Disc. On the
Access Rights property page, you can opt to associate access rights
by drive, for whatever disc in is the drive. Click Drive for Use the
access rights and properties of. Then the disc's volume name will
be changed to the default SCSI name, such as CD-id2lun0, unless
you change this name using the Name field on this page. As a
result, the icon in the Access Rights column of the Discs & Drives
page will illustrate the key on top of a drive rather than a disc.
(For HP J4150A: If this disc is then archived, the share name
reverts to the disc's volume name.)
Changing the Share Name of the Volume. The AFP share
name for the volume can be specified using the General tab. (See
the illustration on page 25.) The volume has by default the name
held on the disc itself. You can override the default name by using
the Name setting.
Spaces in a volume name will be replaced by underscores.
Note
If the volume name duplicates another volume name, an
underscore and capital-A (then underscore and capital-B, etc.)
will be appended to the duplicate.
These changes take effect as soon as you [OK] the page.
