Thermal Restrictions
Below is the ASHRAE A4 support restriction for reverse air flow (RAF) direction configurations:
● CPU thermal design power (TDP) greater than 120 W are N/S within A3/A4.
● Nvidia A30 card is N/S above 45°C ambient temperature.
● Nvidia A2 GPU card is N/S above 45°C ambient temperature.
● Two PSUs are required.
● Four DIMMs are required.
Below is the Edge1 support restriction for RAF direction configurations:
● CPU TDP greater than 120 W are N/S within A3/A4.
● Nvidia A30 card is N/S above 45°C (113°F) ambient temperature.
● Nvidia A2 GPU card is N/S above 45°C (113°F) ambient temperature.
● Two PSUs are required.
● Four DIMMs are required.
Below is the Edge2 support restriction for RAF direction configurations:
● CPU TDP greater than 120 W are N/S within A3/A4.
● Nvidia A30 card is N/S above 45°C (113°F) ambient temperature.
● Nvidia A2 GPU card is N/S above 45°C (113°F) ambient temperature.
● Micron M.2 with 1.92 TB and 3.84 TB on a riser module has active throttling for thermal protection when fully loaded and at
55°C (131°F) environment temperature.
● Micron M.2 with 3.84 TB on AIC card has active throttling for thermal protection when fully loaded and at 55°C (131°F)
environment temperature.
● Two PSUs are required.
● Four DIMMs are required.
