Removing and Inserting a SIM Card
NOTE: When a SIM card is defective and must be replaced with a new one, the following
information will be erased:
The recent calls list
•
Call forwarding settings
•
Net alerts
•
Mobile originated text messages, drafts, and quick notes
•
Information stored in Memo
•
3 most recent GPS enabled locations
•
Voice records
•
Voice names
•
To remove a SIM card (Figure 1-3):
CAUTION: Do not touch the gold-colored area of the SIM card.
1. Power off the unit and remove the battery cover and battery.
2. Turn the unit face down so that the antenna is at the upper left corner.
3. Insert black stick in SIM tray relief notch.
4. Gently push SIM Card out from it's seated position (see Figure 1-3).
5. Grasp exposed corner of SIM Card and pull to slide SIM Card out.
