Removing the defective 8x 2.5-inch HDD backplane
▶ If applicable, remove the SAS expander board holder, see
SAS expander board holder" on page
▶ If applicable, remove the internal RAID riser module, see
internal RAID riser module" on page
▶ Disconnect all cables from the HDD backplane.

▶ Release the screw (see circle).
▶ Pull the HDD backplane upward until the two hooks disengage (see orange
circles).
▶ Take out the HDD backplane.
