Important Notes to the Installer
Read manual before installing the range.
Observe all governing codes and
ordinances.
Be sure to leave these instructions with
the consumer.
Be sure your range is installed and
grounded properly by a qualified installer
or service technician.
A
IMPORTANT:
Before installing
the range in an area covered with
linoleum or any other synthetic
floor covering, make sure the floor
covering can withstand heat at
least 90°F (32.2°C) above room
temperature without shrinking,
warping or discoloring.
Do not install the range over carpeting
unless you place an insulating pad or
sheet of l/44nch (0.64cm) thick plywood
between the unit and carpeting.
A
WARNING
All ranges can tip and injury to persons
could result.
Install the Anti-Tip Device packed
with appliance.
A risk of tip-over may exist if
the appliance is not installed in
accordance with these instructions.
If the range is pulled away from the
wall for cleaning, service or any other
reason, ensure that the Anti-Tip
Device is properly re-engaged when
the range is pushed back against the
wall. In the event of abnormal usage
(such as a person standing, sitting
or leaning on an open door), failure
to take this precaution can result in
tipping of the range. Personal injury
might result from spilled hot liquids or
from the range itself.
