Servicing Notes

This machine is installed by the end-user. The end-user should be advised to
install the imageFORMULA ScanFront 400 by reading the "Setup Guide"
thoroughly. Two (2) printed manuals are included with this scanner: the "Setup
Guide" and the "Operation Guide." In addition, the included CD-ROM contains
the "Instructions" electronic manual data with these manuals.
A. Installation Space Requirements
The approximate installation space requirements for the imageFORMULA
ScanFront 400 are shown in the below table. Always make sure that there is
enough space for the service and operation of the device.

B. Estimated Installation Time
The estimated length of time needed to unpack and install the machine is
approximately 20 minutes. This is based on one (1) experienced technician or
end-user.
C. Service Support Tools
The tools listed in the table below are necessary for the proper service of the

ScanFront 400 Service Manual.
