Introduction to Water Fire Extinguishing

In the lithium battery scenario, a water fire extinguisher is pre-integrated in
the pre-fab. module, and a water nozzle and water fire extinguishing pipe
network are configured to cover the projection area of the entire lithium
battery cabinet. A threaded pipe port is reserved at the pipe outlet to connect
to the external water fire extinguishing system. The diameter of the main pipe
is DN32, and that of the branch pipe is DN25. (The nozzle flow coefficient K is
80, and the nozzle operating pressure is greater than or equal to 0.2 MPa.)
The ECC800-Pro starts the ventilation fan when the lithium battery thermal
runaway occurs in the pre-fab. module, a large amount of combustible gas is
generated, and the in-room carbon monoxide (CO) sensor detects that the CO
concentration is greater than or equal to 80 ppm. If the lithium battery
thermal runaway causes a fire, fire extinguishing water can be introduced
through the connection between the external threaded pipe port and the
external water fire extinguishing system to cool the lithium battery and put
out the fire.
