June 2021© Toro Groundsmaster 5900 ROPS Installation Manual Parts List: Zip ties, Standard Electric Options Parts List: Loop Connector Yellow, 1/4" Installation Instructions: 1. Disconnect the head-light harnesses, then un-bolt the front head-lights and head-light brackets from the operator platform. Save fasteners in order to re-use later. - Page 5 7. Lift the ROPS over the machine and slowly lower down. Continue lowering the ROPS onto the four fasteners removed earlier. 8. Bolt to platform using existing fasteners to Toro torque specifications. 9. Remove chain and lift strap. 10. Bolt the head-lights to the head-light mounting plate at front of ROPS with the factory hardware.

Never let an unqualified or untrained driver operate the reel mower. 2. Keep a fire extinguisher, with ABC rating securely fastened in the ROPS. Maintain it and be familiar with its use.
- Page 11 June 2021© Toro Groundsmaster 5900 ROPS Operation Manual Safe Operation on Rough Terrain 1. Drive the mower slowly on hillsides and curves to eliminate the danger of tipping. Avoid slopes which are too steep for safe operation. Avoid sharp uphill turns.

All operators should familiarize themselves with control location and function prior to operating the mower. Failure to do so may result in unsafe operation of the mower and possible injury or death to operators and bystanders.

Clear the operator platform of all tools. Tools left in or around the ROPS and mower can cause operator interference which could lead to bodily injury and/or damage the machine.
