CONNECTING WITH THE CAMERA

1. Switch the camera off
2. Make sure to connect the controller only to Panasonic DVX-100B or HVX-200 camera
3. Connect controller cable to the Focus/Iris connector - 4 pole 3.5mm jack
4. Switch the camera on – now you may start using the controller

OPERATION

Working with focus mode without limits

Move the "Focus custom/std" to STD position-left.

Rotate focus wheel clockwise (or counter-clockwise, dependent on the focus direction switch) to change focus on the camera from close to far. Focus will change within full range available on the camera.

Note: minimal focus value, may be limited by zoom lenses.
"0" value can be obtained only when camera zoom is not maximum wide.

Working with focus mode with limits

Move the "Focus custom/std" to CUSTOM position-right.

Setup focus close and far limits:

• Move focus wheel to minimal focus close position
• Using focus close limit knob setup focus on camera for near object
• Move focus wheel to maximal focus far position
• Using focus far limit knob setup focus on camera for far object

Rotate focus wheel clockwise (or counter-clockwise, dependent on the focus direction switch) to change focus on the camera from close to far. Focus will change within setup limits.

Note: In mode with focus limits you may not always be able (depends on camera type) to focus through whole available focusing range on the camera. If focusing far/close objects are beyond those limits, use focus mode without limits.

Customizing Focus direction

To change the Focus direction, move Focus direction switch, found on the top left side of the controller body, to opposite position.

Variable Iris mode

Rotate the manual Iris knob clockwise (or counterclockwise, dependent on the iris direction switch) to change iris from open to close.

Customizing Iris direction

To change the Iris direction, move Iris direction switch, found on the top right side of the controller body, to opposite position.

Focus custom/std mode

To change focus mode from standard (std) to custom move custom/std switch to left.

To change focus mode from custom to std move custom/std switch to right.

Iris auto/Manual mode

To change iris mode from manual to auto move iris A/M switch to left.
To change iris mode from auto to manual move iris A/M switch to right.

PRECAUTIONS

Water Resistance

We put a lot of attention on making the controller to be as much water resistant as possible, while maintaining its reasonable price.
However we cannot guarantee 100% water resistance under all circumstances and you should avoid using the controller under heavy environment conditions like rain and over 95% humidity level.

High temperature

Avoid temperatures exceeding +70°C – especially do not leave the controller exposed for direct contact with heavy sun shines, e.g. in the car parked in sunny place.
