Maintenance of the oil filter

The oil filter cartridge cannot be cleaned. Replace it during maintenance work on the central
lubrication unit.

Replace the oil filter as follows:
1. Switch off the central lubrication unit off at its local switch.
2. Unscrew the used oil filter from the central lubrication unit.
If necessary, use an oil filter spanner.
3. Clean the oil filter mounting flange.
4. Fill the new oil filter with release agent.
5. Apply a little release agent to the rubber seal of the oil filter.
6. Screw the oil filter onto the flange.
7. Tighten the oil filter finger-tight.
8. Switch the central lubrication unit into automatic mode.
