Maintenance Procedure
• Check the alternator belt tension.
• Check the air conditioning compressor belt tension (cab models)
• Torque wheel lug nuts.
• Change the mower deck gear box lubricant
• Change the engine oil and filter.
• Change the hydraulic oil and filter.
• Test the safety system.
• Check the operation of the interlock switches.
• Check the engine oil level.
• Check the engine coolant level.
• Clean the radiator with compressed air (do not use water)
• Check the hydraulic fluid level.
• Check the mower blades.
• Clean the mower deck.
• Grease the bearing and bushing grease fittings.
• Check battery cable connections.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Check the condition of the blade drive belts on the mower deck.
• Clean the air conditioning screen. (Clean more frequently in extremely dusty or
dirty conditions)
• Check the alternator belt tension.
• Check the air conditioning compressor belt tension (cab models)
• Check the lubricant in the mower deck gear box.
• Change the engine oil and filter.
• Inspect cooling system hoses and seals. Replace them if cracked or torn.
• Torque wheel lug nuts.
• Clean the cab air filters. (Replace them if they are torn or excessively dirty.)
• Clean the air conditioning coil. (Clean more frequently in extremely dusty or dirty
conditions)
• Change the mower deck gear box lubricant
• Service the air cleaner. (Service the air cleaner earlier if the air cleaner indicator
shows red. Service it more frequently in extremely dirty or dusty conditions.)
• Replace the fuel filter canister.
• Check the fuel lines and connections.
• Change the hydraulic oil and filter.
• Inspect engine valve clearance. Refer to your Engine Operator's Manual.
• Replace moving hoses
• Drain and clean the fuel tank.
• Flush and replace cooling system fluid.
