IMPORTANT
• When ink refreshing is in progress, observe the following precautions:
- Do not turn off the printer.
- Do not open/close the ink tank cover and transport unit lever.
- Do not operate other controls and components of the printer.
NOTE
• When the message "Maintenance cartridge full" appears, replace the maintenance cartridge with a new one,
and then click [Retry]. For how to replace the maintenance cartridge, see
(P.108)".
IMPORTANT
• Install the ink tanks at correct positions according to the labels attached on them.
If any ink tank is installed in the wrong position, the printer cannot print. In addition, ink colors could be mixed,
resulting in a printing failure.
• If any one of the ink tanks is not installed, ink refreshing cannot be completed.
• Be sure to install all ink tanks.
When ink filling is in progress, observe the following precautions:

appears, install the ink tanks.
After installing the ink tanks, closing the ink tank
cover will start ink filling automatically.

"Ink refresh completed" appears.
