Maximum number for recording disturbance phenomena

Note that the maximum number for recording the disturbance phenomena depends on the

recording time and the sampling rate. Table 8.3-1 illustrates the maximum number. For

example, 128 phenomena can be memorized in the disturbance recorder, if the function

operates in 50Hz system. The user can also check the maximum number on the IED screen

(See Figure 8.3-2).

Number of analog quantities and logical signals for disturbance recorder

Ten analog quantities and 256 logical signals are record for one disturbance phenomenon.

The disturbance recorder can record currents and voltages quantities:

During the disturbance recorder running, it can hold the traces of logic signals. The user can

select 256 logic signal randomly with settings [Binary Signal*]. The selected logic signals can

be identified with preferred names, which the user can set with settings [Binary Sig.Name*].

Table 8.3-3 etc. tabulate all settings. For example, 'CB_CLOSE' signal of the PROT_COMM

function may be selected to record with setting [Binary Signal4]; then, the user can name it

'CB_CLOSE' with setting [Binary Sig.Name4].
