LED reset function (LEDR)
The IED has a number of LEDs on the front panel. For example, "TRIP" LED is provided as
an indicator for tripping operation. The status of the "TRIP LED" is maintained until the user
has been able to confirm that tripping was initiated by the IED; hence, by inspection the user
is able to reliably determine that the IED initiated tripping. The LED reset (LEDR) function
is furnished in the IED so that the following operations are available to reset the LED status:
1 Pushing "CLEAR" key
2 Operation by GR-TIEMS
3 Operation by the SAS

pressing the "CLEAR" key causes the Reset of the LEDs.
