Overview of commissioning

Commissioning in three sections
Commissioning of the ABB-Welcome IP system is carried out in three sections.
– Please observe the order of the steps. They are dependent on each other.
Step Local addressing

– For local addressing the physical addresses
are assigned for each participant in the "ABB-
Welcome IP" system.
Step Initial commissioning of "Smart Access Point"

Step Searching and certifying

– Searching and automatic certification of all
available participants in the "ABB-Welcome
IP" system.
– Definition of trustworthy participants for door
opening (who can open the to whom).
– Data backup
