STORAGE
11. After all remaining gasoline has been
extracted from the fuel tank, spray a
rust inhibitor against the fuel tank walls.
12. Tighten the fuel tank cap securely.
13. Install the fuel strainer cup and the ring
nut, then tighten the ring nut securely.
14. Make sure that the fuel cock lever is in
the "HOSE DRAIN" position.
15. Install the fuel cock bracket and the left
side cover by installing the bolts.
Tightening torque:
Fuel cock bracket bolt:
10 Nm (1.0 m·kgf, 7.2 ft·lbf)
Left side cover bolt:
10 Nm (1.0 m·kgf, 7.2 ft·lbf)
16. Remove snow and water from the sur-
face of the Snowblower, auger, chute
and other components using dry rags.
TIP
This is to prevent any water that remains on
the Snowblower from causing corrosion.
17. Check all Snowblower parts. If any nuts
or bolts are loose, tighten them.
18. Store the Snowblower in a low-humidity
and well-ventilated space indoors.
NOTICE
To attach a cover or similar device to the
Snowblower, wait until the engine and
muffler have completely cooled down.
