Using information service

This function is available on KW-NT500HDT only, not equipped with on KW-NT300.
Using the traffic information service
As the traffic information is transmitted by radio
stations, JVC cannot assume responsibility for the
completeness or accuracy of the information.
Traffic information on the map
(green): When receiving information from HD radio
(red): When receiving information from iHeartRadio
Traffic icon (☞ page 36)
Congestion
• Traffic icons are displayed on the map when its scale
is between 80 ft (25 m) and 1.5 mi (2.5 km) with
<Traffic Icon> setting activated (☞ page 41).
How traffic information is reflected in
navigation
The traffic information is reflected in navigation
differently according to <Traffic> setting.

Show Congestion lines appear on the map
when you approach traffic congestion.
Hide Congestion lines do not appear on
the map when you approach traffic
congestion.
Show Traffic icons are displayed on the map.
Hide Traffic icons are not displayed on the
map.
On Operating buttons appear on the screen
when you approach a traffic event.
Recalculate the route manually. (☞
below)
Off The System does not take traffic
information into account.
All The System receives news and real-time
traffic information from the iHeart Link
app, when you are out of HD radio
coverage.
News The System receives only news
information.
Traffic The System receives only traffic
information.
Off No information is received from iHeart
Link app.
