12. More Details on Settings
12.1.5 Decoder Control
The DM-ND300E decoder is usually operated using the remote controller for it to access this equipment. Operation
of the DM-ND300E decoder using this equipment to start play back is possible at this page. Forced access to
another encoder is also possible even if the decoder is currently in the process of data transmission with other
encoders.
In addition, encoder to be accessed by the decoder is not restricted to the DM-NE300E that is currently being
accessed via the browser. Other DM-NE300Es can also be accessed. In other words, Play/Stop can be performed
for any random decoder/encoder combination.
Screen when decoder does not respond to Ping
• Target Decoder IP Address
Enter the IP address for the DM-ND300E decoder for which Play/Stop is to be performed.
• Target Encoder IP Address
Enter the IP address of the DM-NE300E encoder to be accessed by the decoder. IP address of the DM-NE300E
currently accessed via the browser is automatically specified during the initial state.
• Play/Stop Button
Performs Play/Stop functions on decoder/encoder combinations for which IP addresses are specified. Press the
Play to send command to the specified decoder. Decoder will access the specified encoder and encoder will
start stream transmission if the command is successfully received. Press the Stop button to stop the decoder.
Go to the Joining Decoders page of the specified encoder to check whether the decoder control has succeeded.
