4.2.6 Drain tray check

Inflammation or Injury due to Toxic, Corrosive
When using a toxic, corrosive or stimulative
solvent, be careful not to incur a physical
inflammation or injury. For details of the
properties of each solvent and how to handle it,
refer to the relevant Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Be sure to handle each solvent properly.
(a) Wear proper protective clothes (e.g., safety
goggles) so that a solvent will not come into
direct contact with the skin.
(b) Ventilate the laboratory room adequately to
prevent accidental inhalation of harmful solvent
vapor.
Refer to the following procedure for the drain tray check.
(1)
Remove retaining screws to detach the drain tray.
NOTE: Avoid breakage of the detached leak sensor to prevent
malfunction.
(2)
Pull out the drain tray from the unit.
(3)
Wipe up the drain tray with a soft gauze. Wash it with
flowing water if it is filthy.
(4)
Dry the train tray well. Put and install it into the unit.
(5)
Wipe up the tip of the leak sensor with a soft gauze.
(6)
Fix the leak sensor on the drain tray with retaining screws.
