Muffler Guard Removal
Engine: Service and Repairs
1. Park the machine on a level surface. Stop the engine, wait for all moving
parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Remove the 2 (1/4–10 x 13/16 inch) screws securing the LH shroud retainer
to the LH shroud. Remove the LH shroud retainer from the LH shroud.

3. Remove the 6 (M6 x 12 mm) bolts securing the muffler guard to the engine.
