Suspend Mode: Suspend; Save-to-Disk
P O I N T
When resuming from a Save-to-Disk suspension
there will be a delay while the contents of system
memory and operating parameters are loaded from
the hard drive.
C A U T I O N
In the Save-to-Disk mode there is no indication on the
Status Indicator to let you know you are suspended
rather than shut o from the power switch. You may
want to make a practice of always trying the Suspend/
Resume button before using the power switch.

Default Description
Suspend Sets the the form of suspension state you wish. If you choose
Suspend, you will suspend operation with power to system
memory, and everything else powered down or in a very low
power state. If you choose Save-to-Disk the computer will save all
of system memory and the operating parameters to the hard drive
before turning your notebook to the pseudo-off condition.
