4. FIRMWARE UPDATING PROCEDURES (USB FLASH DRIVE)
[CAUTION]
1) Turn On the power of the display and set the monitor not to shift to input signal waiting mode, before updating.
* Set [Other]>[Power management] to [not carrying out] or input the video signal.
2) Be sure to update the firmware under turning on the monitor or returning from the signal waiting mode because it is not possible to
update under the standby mode or the signal waiting mode.
3) Be sure to update the firmware under the condition that the menu can be operated.
* The monitor sometimes fails to update the firmware right after turning on the AC power.
4-1. USB FLASH DRIVE
Use the USB flash drive corresponding to the following standard.
- Format：FAT32/FAT16
- USB:2.0/1.1
CAUTION：
- Setup a suitable volume label name.
- It does not correspond to SD card reader.
- It does not correspond to USB HUB
- Don't use the USB flash drive enciphered
4-2. PREPARATION USB FLASH DRIVE
(1) Clear out USB memory in advance.
(2) Press "Make Usb Data" button with service tool launcher.
(3) Dialogue to specify the copy destination is displayed. Specify
the root folder of USB.
(Example below is that USB memory is F: Drive)
(4) When pressing "Extract", the file is copied.
(5) If the file with same name exists, the following dialogue is
displayed. Select "Yes to All" to overwrite the data.

(6) When the copy is completed, the dialogue is closed.

Input a picture signal to see you set up "other-power
management" for "not carrying out."
