Closed clamshell: scenery shots
This is the standard way for making videos. This way of using your mobile allows you to enjoy
easy access to all video recording features.
You can play videos on your mobile external screen (with closed clamshell). However to get an
optimised display of the videos we advise you watch them on the internal screen (please see
"How to play your video", page 55).
How to use the video-related features on your mobile
Each of the video-related keys has several functions. These functions depend on the active
mode (Record, Play, Pause). While using the video feature, please use the video keypad as
follows:
KEYS
[Camera/Video]side key To record, play, and stop a video.
[Menu] side key
[Up] side key,
[Down] side key
EXPLANATION
Play symbol: press on the [OK] key or on the side key to launch
the playback.
Pause symbol: press on the [OK] key or on the [Camera/Video]
side key to pause the recording.
Stop symbol: press on the [OK] key or on the [Camera/Video]
side key to stop the recording.
Sound level from
(no sound) to
Sound level on external screen
When in playback mode, the gauge fills with green to indicate
the playback progress.
Loop mode activated.
Duration of the current video sequence.
Total duration of the current video sequence.
[Menu] side key

To access an Options list in Preview mode.
To stop the Recording and the Playback.
To exit a panel without confirming.
To zoom out before recording.
To zoom in before recording.
