Check Surroundings Around Axle and Covers for Oil

--- every 1000 hours

Check the surroundings around the axle and covers for oil

leaks. If any oil leaks are found, check the bolts in the oil

leaking area for looseness. Retighten as needed.

--- every 500 hours

Front Axle Breather (1)

Rear Axle Breather (2)

1. Clean the vicinity around the air breather before

removing the air breather.

Open the machine front cover. Front axle air breather (1)

is located at the right side.

Open the machine side cover. Rear axle air breather (2) is

located at the left side.

2. Put a cover on the air breather port to prevent foreign

matter from entering.

CAUTION: Be sure to wear safety glasses when

cleaning the air breather with compressed air.

3. Clean the air breather using compressed air. If

completely contaminated, wash the air breather with a

cleaning solvent and reinstall it.

4. Take care not to allow foreign matter to enter into the

axle housing when reinstalling the air breather.
