5.5 SVC Meetings

In Scalable Video Coding (SVC) meetings (also called multistreaming meetings), the

CloudMCU uses the SVC technology to forward video streams that have different frame rates

or resolutions. The Box 700 performs video codec and facilitates continuous presence,

reducing service load and latency, and allowing multiple endpoints to connect.

The Box 700 sends a maximum of 4-channel video streams to the CloudMCU, with the

resolution ranging from 90p to 720p. The CloudMCU then forwards the video streams. In

total, the Box 700 can receive a maximum of 16-channel video streams, and the resolution is

determined by the actual bandwidth. The maximum resolution is 720p.

The Box 700 supports two collaboration scenarios:

Issue 05 (2019-06-20)

Box 700 + IWB: The touchscreen and whiteboard collaboration experience is the same

as that of the Board.

Box 700 + Display + IWB: The display and IWB form a dual-screen collaboration

system. The display is used to show site video, and the IWB allows users to view and
